Assembling Flat-Pack Cabinetry

In this tutorial

Our flat-pack cabinets arrive pre-drilled and labelled so any competent DIYer can assemble them with a screwdriver and a level. But the order of assembly matters. Do it right and the cabinet is square first try.

The checklist

  • Tools you’ll need (drill driver, rubber mallet, square, level)
  • Work on a flat, clean surface
  • Start with the back panel flat. Never stand it up first
  • Slot sides onto the back, tap with the mallet
  • Install the bottom shelf before the top
  • Check square with a diagonal measure before committing screws
  • Fit adjustable legs last. They level the cabinet on uneven floors
